Phong Nha To Hue By Private Car

Hue City is located just a few hours drive from Phong Nha town – the jungle and caving capital of Vietnam. It is a relative route with bus or train of an offer from a number of transport companies, as well as it is a convenient drive by private car transfer if you prefer.

Phong Nha to Hue city distance  225 km, and it takes about 4 hours driving. Hue City is a popular city to visit after joining one of our caving adventures.

We can go directly to Hue after finishing the tour, it is a good choice. However, Transfer from Phong Nha to Hue  in the morning is more convenient.  You will stay 1 more night in Phong Nha, then go to Hue and we will take advantage of visiting on the route such as Vinh Moc tunnels, Hien Luong Bridge – Ben Hai River.

We would suggest making a reservation 1 day or 18 hours in advance if you intend to take the private car transfer services from Phong Nha to Hue

• Visiting Vinh Moc tunnel:

A highly impressive Vinh Moc tunnel the remains of a Vietnamese village that literally went underground in response to an ongoing war bombing. This tunnel capacity has more than 90 families, they disappeared into 3 levels of Vinh Moc tunnels running for 2 km. They lived and worked while bombs rained down. Most of the tunnels are opened for visiting and kept in their original form (except for electric lights and human statues, a recent addition).

• Visit Hien Luong Bridge – Ben Hai River:

According to the Geneva Agreement in 1954, Viet Nam was divided into two parts and Hien Luong is the best painful symbol of the national division.  Vietnamese soldiers moved to the north and the French and its follower had to move to the south to take the parallel 17t as a temporary boundary for two years until the general election. Nowadays, you can easily imagine the color, flag, loudspeaker as well as artillery through the museum, two-color Bridge, flag tower, loudspeaker, and conjunction house.

• Arriving Hue city

Our driver drops you off at your hotel in the city center. Finish trip.
